Biography
Qiang Du received the Ph.D. degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 1988.,He is currently the Fu Foundation Professor of applied mathematics with the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics, Columbia University. He is also a co-chair of the Center for Computing Systems for Data-Driven Science, Data Science Institute, Columbia University. His research interests are in numerical analysis, mathematical modeling, and scientific computation with applications in physical and data sciences.
