ParkSmart: Smart Parking Payment System

This paper studies the parking issues, current parking system and alternative solution to solve the issue. With the rise in vehicles number, most of the people are suffering from parking issue especially in dense cities. The current ticket-based parking system is no longer the best parking solution. Primary investigations were conducted through questionnaires to determine current parking issue, efficiency, respondent’s level of acceptance and expectation towards the new smart parking system. Results and analysis show there is positive responses towards new parking system.
