Abstract:
This paper presents quantitative research on the opinion of a group of 401 Latin American university professors on the use of humorous resources and memes through digital learning environments. The existence of differences in perceptions according to the area of knowledge and gender of the participants is analyzed. As a result, it is obtained that the valuations of humorous resources and memes are high, greater among professors of Arts areas and without significant differences by gender. We recommend faculty training specifically oriented to the use of these resources and an increase in research in this regard.
