Abstract:

The sector of maintenance has recently showed considerable potential for augmented reality (AR) technologies. Their effect on the maintenance procedure is now being examined. Recent studies have investigated this issue by employing qualitative methodologies based on a subjective analysis. This article presents the evaluation study’s preliminary findings, which show the advantages of integrating augmented reality tools for maintenance jobs. To provide decision-makers with the quantitative information they need to maintain AR systems more successfully. A multi-criteria decion model based on a combination of AHP and Fuzzy-TOPSIS approaches was suggested. To examine the suggested model and identify its global applicability and potentialities, an experiment and case study on the assessment of an on-site maintenance service for an AR system was studied.
