Abstract:
The mobile ecosystem changed drastically with the introduction of 5G network technologies. 5G offers a variety of opportunities, but it is also vulnerable to attacks. The following paper explains the key actors in the mobile industry and their involvement in security, such as 3GPP and GSMA. Furthermore, it presents the Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme, which is conceived as a common security assurance framework for mobile businesses, operators, vendors, governments, and consumers.
