Abstract:

In this paper, a hybrid method is studied for EM scattering from a 3D object above a 2D flat surface. The method is a hybrid method of high frequency physical optics algorithm(PO) and PO itself. We derived the direct scattering field that can be used for both object and flat surface, and the coupling field between them. Finally, the method is utilized to calculate the difference scattering d-RCS of different objects above a flat surface, and compare it with MLFMM in commercial software. The verification results show that our method has high accuracy
