Blended Learning in College English Teaching under the Background of Information Technology

In recent years, “Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in All Courses” has emerged as a necessity in higher education, including the course of Colige English. With the boom of information technology and the emergence of online learning platforms such as “Unipus”, “Chinese University MOOC” and "pigai.net", the blended approach of “online learning” and “offline learning” provides College English teachers with a new teaching method, which helps to make the relatively dull way of ideological and political education full of cultural and artistic colors and maximize the teaching effect. Based on specific teaching cases, through the comprehensive application of “online” and “offline” learning, this paper aims to explore an effective way for blended learning to integrate ideological and political education in College English teaching.
