Abstract:

This paper present an exploitation of mushroom structure for the improvent of isolation between the transceiver ports of a full-duplex array. The addition of mushroom structure with ground via to the fullduplex array supress the self interference from transmitting ports to receiver ports. A dual-layer full duplex array operaring at 2.4 GHz is implemented using CST. Addition of mushroom structure provide an improvment of transmitter and receiver port isolation to a peak of 70 dB.
