I. Introduction
During the past two decades, the age has witnessed a series of mobile device updates, such as smartphones and wearable devices. These devices bring prosperity to mobile computing, so that users can communicate and calculate at any time and place. However, with the increase of application types, such as virtual reality [1], augmented reality [2], and artificial-intelligence-based applications [3], with the increasing demand for high computing resources, mobile devices are facing the challenges of computing power, storage, battery capacity, and information security. Traditional cloud computing can not satisfy the user’s ultralow latency demands of these applications, so the industry urgently needs the emergence of a new computing paradigm for meeting the demands on ultralow latency.
