Fuzzy Cognitive Map Decision Support for Aging in Place for the Elderly

Aging in Place is highly desirable for the elderly, however it is a complex decision for many, due to factors that are related to health, ability, environment, and social support. This paper proposes a soft computing decision support model for aging in place based on Fuzzy Cognitive Maps, taking into consideration 16 factors, some of which are interrelated. Two example cases are presented.
