Abstract:
This paper presents an analytical model for time domain analysis of lossy transmission lines, which can be used for time domain analysis of lossy transmission lines. Dielectric loss, skin effect loss caused by signal trace and ground are taken into account. The time domain response results calculated by the model are in good agreement with measurement results, which proves the feasibility of using the model for time domain response analysis of lossy lines.
