Abstract:
In this paper we consider an experimental setup involving a Quanser AERO system. We construct a model that explicitly accounts for Coulomb friction, which differs from the models used in the literature. We then unleash attacks on the system and implement and demonstrate attack detection and correction strategies from recent theoretical work. We show how the setup provides an experimental demonstration of these strategies and address several practicalities of bridging the gap between theory and practice.
