Abstract:
A study of the flow of a structured liquid with the Carreau’s rheological law in a round pipe is carried out. The results are compared with similar results obtained in the case of using the Ostwald-de Waele power law as a rheological model. It is established that the Ostwald-de Waele rheological model at relatively low flow velocities leads to significant errors in the prediction of integral flow parameters.
