Research on image analysis software for elevator brake wheel monitoring

As an important safety protection device of elevator, the performance of the brake directly affects the safety of elevator. This article designs a kind of image processing software for elevator brake wheel monitoring. The purpose of the software is to calculate and process the angular velocity of the brake wheel during the elevator braking, and record the data to the database. The software analysis the image data of the elevator brake during braking process taken by the industrial camera. The software has three main functions: picture browsing and reading function, image processing function and record and query function. The software has strong applicability and is easy to operate. The interface of software is also intuitive. By processing the image and outputting the treatment results of the elevator brake wheel, the software can provide professional reference for the inspector. The inspector can judge whether the elevator brake wheel still meets the requirements through this software.
