Abstract:
The Discontinuous Galerkin Time Domain (DGTD) method has been extensively studied in the calculation of radar cross-section (RCS) of objects, where introducing plane waves into computational domain plays a vital role. In this paper, we use the one-dimensional DGTD propagator instead of one-dimensional FDTD propagator to produce the plane wave, so that the leakage of incident wave into the scattered field region is greatly suppressed.
