Abstract:
A two-stage accelerator complex based on the photoinjection gun is under development in the Institute of Applied Physics at present. It is designed to accelerate the electron bunches with a charge of up to 100 pC to the particle energy of ~3–5 MeV after the first stage and ~20 MeV after the second stage. The report presents the design and design parameters of the accelerating microwave sections, as well as the results of "cold" testing of the first stage key components.
