Abstract:
The Beijing Municipal Government vigorously developed action plans for public transit rail and green freight transport as part of the battle to defend the blue sky. Compared to highway and aviation transport, railway transportation has the advantages of large volumes, timeliness, energy saving and environmental protection. The construction of an urban logistics system based on railways plays an important role in realizing zero CO2 emissions in Beijing in the future. Therefore, sustainable External Collection and Internal Distribution urban logistics network design by rail. The concept model was defined via graph theory and a related network design was developed. Using Beijing as an example, the City's road map was created and the demand and candidate Urban Distribution Center (UDC) geographic information was collected to be loaded. We compared the selections of 1 to 10 UDCs on the map. The most common UDCs were Huang Tudian, Shi Jingshan South and Chang Ping when selecting between more than two UDCs. The sustainable and zero emissions of urban freight transportation in Beijing can be achieved through this model.
