Abstract:

The Fuel cells are more often clean energy resource for most of the industrial needs. This clean energy will have a numerous aspect in our life, and the basic applications like utility power, transportation, low power devices as laptops, PC, and many small power applications. To empower the use of fuel cells, the high-power converters are to be used for industrial and commercial sectors like transportation. The utilization of these cells mainly depends on the dc power converters. At present a full-bridge converter is the overwhelming geography in high gain power DC-DC applications. Already a wide variety of multiphase converters have been proposed in the recent time, but their device characteristic is not optimistic for a low voltage source like fuel cell. This paper mainly discusses one of the recent research articles on 3-phase high gain soft switched DC-DC converter with fuel cell as a input, and the performance of converter is been analyses by non-linear loads like RL and Induction motor.
