Abstract:

Magnetic field radiation (MFR) is a key issue that needs to be solved in the practical application of wireless power transfer (WPT) technology. Radiation analysis is very useful to improve and evaluate the electromagnetic safety and reliability for the system. Different from the existing finite element simulation and experimental detection methods, this paper establishes a unified magnetic field model suitable for regular polygon coils of WPT system based on electromagnetic field theory, which takes into account various factors such as coil structure and its parameters, misalignment conditions and external excitation, and discusses the different effects of the factors on magnetic field radiation. Both simulation and experimental results prove the validity of the magnetic field model, which provide a theoretical basis for the optimal design of electromagnetic shielding for WPT systems.
