Abstract:
As the adverse effects of stray current intensify, it is a pressing need to better control and undermine effection of the metro stray current. In this paper, the electromagnetic finite element method is elaborated to establish the model of metro traction power supply system and the underground soil structure including the uniform soil, horizontal layered soil, vertical layered soil and arbitrary non-uniform block soil. Analyze conductor by using discretization with one-dimensional finite element, and the soil block is discretized by three-dimensional finite element. Next, set and solve the stiffness matrix with the boundary conditions, and solve the scalar potential, current density, and stray current of all nodes in the soil block through the established equation. Finally, the distribution characteristics of the electric potential and stray current of metro under complex geological conditions are presented.
