Abstract:
Due to the increased use of renewable energy source, reduced landfill and pollution with inexpensive characteristics, the biogas plants are gaining the significant research attention across the globe. However, the absence of automation in biogas plants leads to the numerous issues for the users from rural population. Hence, to enrich plant performance, the demand for automation and control is increasing every day. This paper proposes a hardware implementation of automatic gas valve control mechanism for biogas plant. The LC5926H ON - OFF controller is incorporated in the proposed system to carry out the automatic opening and closing of the gas valve via solenoid valve. The controller allows solenoid valve to perform the switching operation, where the pressure inside the dome exceeds or fall below the preset value. This progressive control provides more proficient and reliable solution to the present bio waste systems by reducing the human involvement and escaping the gas leakage.
