Introduction
Based on the development of Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology, the Augmented Reality (AR) experience has been improved. This allows users to move in real space and interact with virtual objects. The interactive form becomes much lively. In the past, common AR works on tablets interacted with the screen by tapping on it. Most tablets have the advantages of the built-in touch function. However, this study found that most tablets, such as iPad, may be a burden in both hands. We need to tap the screen and use one hand to hold the tablet in the air. We may not be able to hold it for a long time. However, in the past SLAM-based AR interaction, we often need to tap on the screen to accomplish the interaction. Therefore, this research design an interactive solution using buttons, combining the original advantages of SLAM-based AR on tablets. Therefore, users can hold tablets and complete the interactive experience through buttons at the same time.
