Abstract:

In this work, we are examining the effect of the analyte on the process of Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS). Benzophenone and riboflavin solutions were used as analytes for the measurements. The enhancement was measured on the same gold nanoisland substrates for both analytes at two different excitation wavelengths (532 and 633 nm). The enhancement factor was obtained for both analytes, and the influence of the analytes was studied.
