Abstract:

The reduction of Carbon Dioxide Emissions is one of the greatest challenges of the current decade. Renewable energies, especially wind power plants, are very promising as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional power plants. Increasing the efficiency while simultaneously decreasing NVH behavior is in the main focus of wind turbine generator manufacturers, to promote the capability of wind energy within the various possibilities of generating electric energy. This paper describes one solution for the mentioned challenges in the field of small and medium power wind generators for distributed energy production in urban areas, where especially NVH behavior is an unneglectable topic.
