Abstract:

Robust tracking problem for Mars powered landing subject to aerodynamic and engine uncertainties is investigated. To compensate for the large uncertainties in engine dynamics as well as the uncertainties in the plant dynamics, a predictive ESO is designed and the concept of total disturbance in the classic ADRC methodology is redefined. Feedback law is correspondingly constructed to obtain the desired closed-loop property. Numerical simulations for supersonic retropropulsion control of Mars landing are conducted to verify the robustness of the proposed method.
