Abstract:
P4-enabled Smart NIC is implemented and demonstrated. Interconnect with optical BVT, it offers agile lOOGbps interface to transport P4-defined data path for L2/L3 from VMs to sliceable optical transport. The Smart NIC can achieve 84.8Gbps throughput; its hardware-enabled SR can produce 30% more bandwidth.
