Abstract:
An SEIRS epidemic model with saturated incidence rate is investigated. The model exhibits two equilibria. The basic reproduction number 0 R is derived and the stability of the equilibrium points are analyzed. The results show that the disease-free equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable when R0 <; 1 and unique endemic equilibrium is stable when R0 > 1. Finally, some numerical simulations are given to support our analytical results.
