Abstract:

This paper addresses the problem of estimating inputs, states, and outputs of a port-Hamiltonian system (PHS). We consider linear, complex-valued PHSs with linear measurements subject to interval uncertainties. Two interval input-state-output estimators are developed and a necessary and sufficient existence condition is given; stability and inclusion are proven. The two estimators are applied to an estimation problem in an electric power system. Numerical simulations proof the validity of the proposed methods.
