Abstract:

This paper aims to design and implement of an ethanol concentration measurement system. using specific gravity approaches on batch distillation column. This measurement system was built from several sensors, there are load cell sensor, and water level sensor. The solution from distillation output was weighed using load cell and the volume was measured by ultrasonic sensor. The mass and the volume were then calculate into specific gravity. Finally, the measurement system test and gets the statistic characteristic.
