Abstract:

Crimes that make vehicles as objects of theft are increasing nowadays, especially for motorbikes. The current vehicle security system cannot provide maximum protection from the act of seizing the vehicle. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology provides an alternative solution to improve vehicle security using RFID wristband and Arduino based microcontrollers. Arduino devices and RFID readers are installed on motorbikes, and the detection system is used as a control to turn the motorbike on or off automatically. The RFID reader will continuously scan the presence of RFID wristband as a vehicle security mechanism. The relay functions to make the vehicle's electrical status ON or OFF. This way, a real-time motorbikes security system can be applied.
