Abstract:

This paper proposes a new design procedure of the resonant network of power converters. When designing power converters, the load impedance varies over a wide range rather than having a fixed value. The variation in the load impedance results in degradation of the system performance. In this paper, single-frequency and two-frequency design methods are presented to construct a resonant network that effectively handles load impedance variation without using additional equipment for network tuning. This method allows designers to find a proper structure and parameters of the network for their purposes.
