Abstract:

This manuscript presents short survey of novel schemes, techniques and algorithms of space-vector pulsewidth modulation (PWM) elaborated for adjustment of transformer-based grid-connected photovoltaic systems on the basis of dual-inverter and triple-inverter topologies of PV installations. Both standard two-level inverters and NPC converters, supplied by the corresponding strings of PV panels, can be used in these system topologies. Accent in this paper has been done on overview of alternative methods of synchronous multi-zone space-vector modulation (based on non-classical approach for calculation of parameters of pulse control signals) for inverters of PV installations, the use of which assure symmetrical voltage waveforms (and elimination of subharmonics in its spectra) at the outputs of inverters for any control modes and regimes of operation of photovoltaic systems.
