Abstract:
Input shaping approach is of great interest. It deals with convolving a series of pulses with the system command. The result defines the reference signal. Combined with explicit fractional order systems, the Unity Magnitude (UM) shaper gives satisfying achievement. Analytic expressions of impulses times are deduced and shaped responses are simulated. Besides, robustness study against parameters variations is achieved. A new version of an algorithm to design robust UM shapers is elaborated, based on time characteristics of second generation CRONE controllers.
