Abstract:

Given that Ultra-Low-Frequency (ULF)/Very-Low-Frequency (VLF) communication systems are lower power consumption than traditional transmitters, more and more researchers focus on the development of the ULF/VLF transmitter. In this paper, an innovative design of ULF/VLF transmitter is introduced based on mechanically-rotating electret, and is validated using both theoretical analysis and finite element simulations. This work is intended to lay the foundation for future tests involving the implementation of efficient, small form-factor, mechanically-actuated antennas.
