Abstract:

The transition to intelligent energy systems is a key task of the Russian and foreign power industry. One of the parameters of intellectualization is the ability to control power flows in electrical networks. It is possible to implement with the help of various devices that allow controlling the parameters and network operation modes. This device was developed by the authors of the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev. The article is devoted to the study of the effective areas of the thyristor voltage regulator (TVR) operation in parallel power transmission lines using the Matlab Simulink software. The developed TVR simulation model allows making longitudinal, transverse and longitudinal-transverse voltage regulation. Power flow control using the developed device research was carried out for the investigated part of distribution electrical network.
