The calculation of “F” factor and Evaluation of Radiation Emitted by UV Lamps

In the present paper the authors propose to evaluate the level of human exposure to UV radiation by elaborating two scenarios for testing these types of lamps. In order to overcome the inconveniences created by the mathematical difficulties in calculating the emissions emitted by UV lamps, the authors have developed an “F” factoring application that they have implemented in the case of laboratory tests in parallel with the mathematical calculation. The results of the calculation of the “F” factor having an insignificant deviation, which led to the validation of the calculation application.
