Digital transformation scoreboard – Case of Slovenia and Croatia

Implementation of digital technologies leads enterprises and governments towards digital transformation. While some enterprises are successful in their digital journey, many still remain behind. Digitalization and digital transformation are of key importance for increased efficiency, improved value proposition, innovation and overall growth of the economy as well as wellbeing of the society. For that reason, decision makers and policy makers need to understand current situation of digital transformation in enterprises to set up proper actions and policies for its expansion. The impact of digital transformation is measured with various digital indicators and assessment techniques on country and enterprise level. Based on the open data provided from different reports on digital transformation this paper summarizes current state of digital transformation in enterprises in Slovenia and Croatia. Furthermore, we provide comparison between analyzed countries and EU average.
