Abstract:
In today's digital era, E-Commerce is widely used all over the world. Due to a sudden burst in the digital data, more than 80 % of the data which are generated are in text format only. These data are useful in E-Commerce for both buyers and sellers. Manually, it is impossible to analyze these large amounts of data, an automated system is required. One of the most useful technique is Sentiment Analysis (SA), which extracts the opinions, emotions and sentiments from these text data and concludes about general opinion about the commodity. Much research has been carried out using SA and found very advantageous in the E-market. In this paper, over 5000 reviews, of different mobile brands have been extracted from one of the very common social media platform “twitter” and then sentiment analysis has been carried using Lexicon based approach. The result of sentiment analysis has been presented by graph., which can be utilized by the consumers in decision making while purchasing a new mobile phone. This can be also utilized by sellers to improve their business.
