2018 IEEE International Power Electronics, Drives, and Energy Systems Conference Held in Chennai, India [Society News]

The 2018 IEEE International Power Electronics, Drives, and Energy Systems (PEDES) Conference was held at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, 18-21 December 2018. Researchers, academicians, industrialists, professionals, and government officials all participated in the event (Figure 1). Four IEEE Societies sponsor the PEDES conferences: the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), the IEEE Power & Energy Society, the IEEE Power Electronics Society, and the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society.
