Abstract:
This paper considers a coverage control for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in moving regions. The coverage control problem is formulated as a problem such that multi-agent systems cover a given region. Previous studies deal with the coverage control for fixed regions. However, in some applications such as agricultural applications and aerial shooting, it is necessary to consider cases, where regions to be covered are moving. This paper discusses the coverage control for the moving regions, and we propose a control method that guarantees that the agents stay in and cover the moving regions. We also show an application of the coverage control for the moving regions to UAVs.
