Abstract:
A measurement of finger grip strength is important, since the grip strength is related with the condition. A lot of kinds of their relationships have been studied. Some doctors who are finger or hand specialists have various kinds of implicit knowledge regarding finger force. If the finger forces could be measured, it is expected that many useful and novel knowledge would be found. Therefore, this paper describes a new finger force distribution measurement system developed for analyzing those implicit knowledge. Some experiments are performed with using the new developed device, and the effectiveness of the device is verified.
