Abstract:
In this paper, we proposed a fiber type conductive structure for enhancing the shielding effectiveness (SE) of electromagnetic interference (EMI) film. The fiber type conductive structure was fabricated using multiple layers of nanofibers via electrospinning to provide a dense 3D-network. This fiber type conductive structure with a 3D-network lowers contact resistance and acts as an effective pathway to guide electromagnetic noise to metal shield-can frames. The proposed fiber type conductive structure shows a significant increase of the SE, from 18.99dB to 41.08dB, compared with the conventional powder type conductive structure.
