Abstract:
This paper presents a novel Colored Petri Net (CPN) model for the integration of an existing local payment system and a new bank. The developed CPN model is governed by the elementary principles of ISO 8583 protocol, the protocol used in most credit card bank processing systems. The model is realized by using CPN tools software package.
