Network Traffic Based iOS Application Automatically Analyzing System

Network traffic analysis is a vital process in application security test. To deal with the situation that the number of applications and applications versions are increasing day by day, this paper proposes a network traffic based iOS application automatically analyzing framework, which contains 4 modules: downloading & installing, test script recording, auto testing and network traffic data analysis. Network traffic based iOS application automatically analyzing system on iOS platform is also developed based on this framework. Finally more than 10 instant message applications are tested with the use of this system and find it effective in automatically analyzing applications network behavior.
