Abstract:
The acceleration efficiency is a key index for charged-particle acceleration process. This paper introduced a method to enhance the acceleration efficiency in slowed circularly polarized wave. The numerical calculation results indicated that with an optimal choice of the taper factor, a significant acceleration efficiency enhancement can be obtained.
