Abstract:
Powerline communications transfer high-speed information in the power grid equipment which has obtained great success. In order to make transformation rate higher, the bandwidth is 1-30MHz. Broadband power line as the communication link whose channel characteristics have very important effect on the communication quality. This paper analyses these characteristics of impedance, noise and the signal's attenuation in the power line communication channel and compares two kinds of existing power line channel models. According to above analysis, we would build a power line channel model including noise and interference.
