Research of data storage mode and recovery method based on XFS file system

With the advent of the era of big data, XFS file system utilization rate is higher and higher because of its obvious advantages in terms of store huge amounts of data. But the corresponding detailed introduction of XFS file system is less. This paper studies the data storage mode in XFS file system, and analysis the change of disk after file being deleted. At last, by an example, we find a way to recover file by finding file inode through the file directory index then locating the blocks which belong to these inodes. Finally, we come to the conclusion that files which are deleted can be effectively restored when the inodes and the blocks belong to the file are not over written.
