Abstract:

We propose a DGD mitigation architecture that transforms four IM-DD signals to two pseudo QPSK signals and applies conventional digital signal processing. We numerically demonstrate that the proposed architecture enables the DGD robustness of 100GbE optical interfaces to be improved.
