Abstract:

To explore the possible non-thermal biological effects of intermediate frequency magnetic fields, this paper presents an exposure system for time-varying magnetic fields. The magnetic field generator consists of a voltage-source inverter and a series resonant circuit. In this case, the inductor of the resonant circuit is a magnetic field generator, When the RMS current of 30 A and 80 kHz is applied to the solenoid coil, an alternating magnetic flux density of 6.5 mT is obtained in the middle of the coil. The experimental results show that the maximum and averaged values of induced electric field were approximately 108 V/m and 29 V/m, respectively.
