Abstract:
Establishing traceability on the factory floor or other remote sites can be a challenge. The Fluke Corporation uses a method called process metrology to maintain traceability for high-end products in its factory annex. Process metrology not only establishes an accredited, traceable chain through the standards laboratory to national standards, but it also provides the basis for a quality control system. This presentation describes the two-loop quality control system which links the standards laboratory with specific calibration systems in the factory annex.
